B. A. Pass - Reviews

B. A. Pass based on a short story “Railway Auntie” by Mohan Sikka is a bold concept. Directed by Ajay Bahl, reasonably well executed in a very bearable time span of little more than an hour. Its about the tryst of a young man who ends up as a gigolo. The story is based in Delhi’s busy Pahar Ganj and characters are also very next door. This helps to keep the story grounded and makes it relateable.

There were scope for improvements – for instance the female lead “Shilpa Shukla” was stiff throughout the film. For a realistic film the climax was a lot of drama.

Nonetheless full marks to the team for presenting a sex based concept (replete with sex scenes and suggestive language) without any hint of sleaze.
