Markets of Greater Kailash, stylishly called GK, boast of a host of great dining options. Some famous breweries like Adda by Striker and cafes like Sakleys and Wagh Bakri have been reviewed by us. We recently tried Bread & More that has an outlet here. It is a small deli / cafe with some sitting arrangement inside and outside. We were surprised to see a make your own salad counter with two bowl sizes for different prices. We made our bowl with some Som Tom, Cous Cous, Thai styled chicken and sprouts/lentils. Slices of multi grain bread were served along with salad.

From their bakery counter, which has quite a few savory items, we had mini chicken and mushroom puffs, onion pizza slice and chicken lasagna. Lasagna was loaded with sheets of pasta layered with cheese and good quality chicken. One of the best pre-cooked lasagnas we have come across. We gulped these down with peanut butter shake and ginger ale. The shake was crunchy with peanuts and the bottom of the glass had a brownie. Keep a long drink spoon handy to enjoy this little surprise in the end.

Mini hot cross buns with smoked chicken sausage were super yum. We are going to repeat it every time we visit Bread & More.

From confectionery, we tried an almond croissant, salty caramel tart, slice of red velvet cake and macarons. Almond croissant had a good thick layer of butter inside and the croissant was topped with icing sugar and almond slivers. These would be loved by folks who dig buttery items. Salty caramel tart was delicious but red velvet cake and macaroons have scope for improvement. Red velvet tasted just like any other cake and macaroons can do with a little less sugar.

We had our latte and cappuccino to settle down the food. But we felt this gooey chocolaty pastry was calling us from the display. So we ordered this Oreo chocolate cheesecake. Delicious cheesecake topped with shiny chocolaty layer was melt in the mouth. This serving of coffee and slightly bitter cheesecake helped in settling the sugar rush that we were high on.

We are very impressed with their salads, savory & dessert items and coffee. We would love to recommend it to everybody who is looking for quality confectionery in South Delhi.

    Hello!
I can’t complete my order in your store!
Why don’t you setup more stable processing like paypal.com or paymenthub.online?
