100 Pipers brings the legendary British rock band Dire Straits to perform for the first time ever in India for their ‘Play for a cause’ initiative. A part of the proceeds from ticket sales will be used to support villagers in Rajasthan. Block the dates March 17 and 19 for Gurgaon and Bengaluru performances.
CMS Vatavaran organized a screening of documentary films on the theme of environment. We find the honest observation of life through this medium expanding our horizons on various topics. Hence we attend documentary screenings whenever possible. In this series we recently watched the National Award winning documentary “I Cannot Give You My Forest”.
“No Hunger Week” aims at minimising the food wastage by partnering with various food joints across Delhi, from 1st – 7th August. Apart from restaurant owners, the campaign is geared towards people who have been eating out, to donate their leftovers at ‘The Leftover Cart’. All food collected is to be distributed to the homeless across Delhi.
