Jaipur Literature Festival has set a trend by creating glamorous events surrounding books. The Times Group has recently started organizing Literature Festivals in other parts of the country including the just concluded edition in Delhi. The two day event evoked a lot of interests among Delhites and others in NCR.
Art Tree has been active in propagating the cause of art in Delhi NCR. We have attended their art event Colorama earlier this year. They recently organized panel discussions on art and its role in contemporary times. Various concepts related to art were discussed during the sessions.

The impact of these epics covers the whole gamut – altars, literature as well as all forms of art. A recent talk at Oxford Book Store on the Impact of Indian Mythology on Art brought home the various ways in which we are being enriched by the epics. Everyday.
We keep marveling at how the definition of art has broadened over time. Paintings, sculptures, photography have made way to new forms of artwork.
