Dilli-Ke-Pakwan---Food-Festival-in-Delhi

Driving our way to CP we glanced upon a colorful decorated Shamiana at  Baba Kharag Singh Marg, in front of the emporium hub of Delhi. After parking our car we walked up to check what was happening there. The big gate made of two skewers with Kebabs was good enough to tell us that this is Delhi’s very own street food festival – Dilli Ke Pakwan.

Organised by Delhi Tourism, this time the fair looked bigger and better managed. Lot of stalls of all kind of street food Delhi is famous for. From Biryani to Chaat, Jalebi to Chole Bhature, Rajasthani Thali to greesy Chinese Noodles, this festival had something for everyone who is a delhiwalla at heart.

Special mention to a very colorful Paan stall and Chandni Chowk’s famous whipped cream & Khoya dish called Daulat Ki Chaat.
We savored some Gol gappe, Pao Bhaji, Bread Chila, Jalebi and Daulat Ki Chaat.
