Awarded Best Fil & Best Directionm – Delhi 48 Hour Film Project

Reviews: Good considering it was made in 48 hours, Comic

The Girl and the Autorickshaw (Hindi-7 Mins)

Guided by Anurag Kashyap for humaramovie.com and Wassup Andheri Film Festival.

Reviews: Probably the finest short film screened this evening. One of the finest shorts we’ve seen till date. Well directed, crisp, no gimmicks no nonsense. It closed with great applause from the audience. Respecting a human being despite of his/her gender was shown in a slighly comic and emotional way in just 7 minutes. The actor who played auto rickshaw driver and the character who played Suhasini were amazing. This short alone made our drive from Rohini/Gurgaon to Lodhi road on a very humid day worth it. Our FIVE STARS for this short.

Samudra Ke Bare Mein (Hindi-27mins)

A poetic drama of a lower middle class family.

Reviews: A little too long for a short film. It was like an abstract poem. You keep trying to understand what’s happening and then you are left with “what happened?”. Still a good effort.

Choice (Hindi-7mins)

The  story of an individual, who believes that where he  reached in his life was destined because of his childhood circumstances.

Reviews: This was another film with a message. We liked the film and the message. “Despite of your circumstances you always have a choice in the matter. You can be what you want to be if you exercise your CHOICE.”

Being Rajat Khanna(English-7 mins)
II Runner up – Delhi 48 Hour Film Project 2012

Reviews: Just didn’t work for us. Could have been done better. Though the fact that it was made in 48 hours made it just about average. The actor and director were present with their friends and family to cheer ’em up.

One Such Bedtime Story(Kannada-17 Mins)

Fantasy of a young boy who wants to become older to be a match for the older woman he seems to be in love with.
Reviews: Average. We grew impatient by the time film finished.
