Habibi, as the name suggests is a new Mediterranean -Lebanese- Moroccan fine dining place in West Delhi. Recently launched in Rajouri Garden, this is owned by people behind Fashion TV in India. We were invited for the launch party recently. Habibi is easy to find as it’s on the main road bang opposite to Dominos. This neighbourhood is overflowing with restaurants and pubs and parking is a hell. Thanks to their valet service we didn’t have to struggle with this.

The restaurant is on the first floor and the area is reasonably spacious. Decor is middle eastern with Turkish lamps, soft lights, some sitting area, a bar, dance floor, kitchen, LED screen… everything you need to spend a decent evening with friends. The bartenders were nice and were pleasantly catering to the requests from the guests.

We had their signature Watermelon-Vodka shots to start with. We had a few snacks/starters to go with our drinks. Moroccan Chicken Crostini was nice. Falafel wasn’t good at all and needs to be either improved or taken out of their menu altogether. Kebabs and Fried Fish were decent. Their staff could easily be the USP of this place. Super hospitable when serving starters or refilling the drinks, fixing the hookah, these guys were on their toes throughout the night.

They had some Belly Dancers to entertain the guests with their performance. Dinner was not served till past 10.30 and we left after a few drinks.
