India Art Fair 2017
saw many an Indian as well as foreign galleries participating to display their art collection. We have been following India Art Fair as a ritual every year  for our love for everything art.

India Art Fair 2017 showcased paintings, sculptures, mixed media, digital art as well as installations. Organised at NSIC grounds near Kalkaji, the decor of the fair had a minimalist approach this year. The galleries looked wide, spacious and the display was arranged neatly.

Some of the displays from well known artists from India were:
Subodh Gupta, this time as an installation for Absolute, in his signature utensils style.
Ravinder Reddy with his sculptures of voluptuous women.
Works of masters like M F Hussain, Raza, Manjit Bawa and Souza
along with many others.

India Today’s initiative Art Today had some famous covers of magazines and photographs from news media. Yoga guru cum entrepreneur Ramdev’s famous yoga pose that trolled tremendously on social media found a place at India Art Fair 2017. We found this stall to be most popular with visitors for its mass appeal. Delhi Art Gallery and Master Strokes displayed their awe inspiring collection of artworks. Silver jewelry with dedicated stall  was displayed like and among other works of art.

The merchandise section this year has moved from its permanent location to a make shift enclosure selling clothes, perfumes, stationary, mugs, cushion covers and what not carrying prints of works famous artists.

Despite the steep ticket price, India Art Fair is a must do for any art lover in Delhi NCR.
