Zee TV’s theatre wing Zee Theater was back with its second presentation “Sir Sir Sarla”, a play written and directed by Makrand Deshpande. The 2 hours 15 minutes play was a most off beat production that cannot be identified in the common classifications of theater that we ordinarily get to see in Delhi. We look forward to their next production in March 2017.
100 Pipers brings the legendary British rock band Dire Straits to perform for the first time ever in India for their ‘Play for a cause’ initiative. Mohe Piya, directed by Prof. Waman Kendre and performed by the group Rangpeeth from Mumbai, was based on Mahabharat during Bharat Rang Mahotsav by National School of Drama.
