Pizza is probably world’s most loved food. We don’t doubt or debate that. Pizza can make any foodie go weak in his/her knees and can make even weight watchers commit this food sin. We had tried Pizza Express’s Hawaiian Menu sometime back at their Vasant Kunj branch. This time, to try their regular menu, we kept our calorie concerns aside and dined at Pizza Express – Gurgaon last Sunday evening.

This outlet has more of a food court like open seating arrangement. The hospitality of the staff was top notch and the serving staff helped us decide what to order from their extensive menu.

We started with Baked mushrooms and Spiedini di Gambero (Prawn and chilli skewers served with watermelon). Both the starters were fresh and flavorful. The pizzas we tried for maincourse were even better. Polpette Bolognese – this Roman Pizza had thin crust, luscious chicken meatballs and slightly herb and spicy flavor. Pomodoro Pesto was also fresh and divinely delicious. We had pints of Kingfisher Ultra to gulp down the pizzas.

The pizzas were flawless and we couldn’t wait to taste the desserts. Banoffee pie and Cheesecakes were tender, moist and sinful and their taste was further enhanced with gelato and mascarpone served alongside.

This was a perfect dinner and there is nothing more that we expect from a pizza outlet. Pizza Express Gurgaon goes in our hall of fame of top pizza restaurants in Delhi NCR.
