Venue: Connaught Place

We love pizzas. We love pizzas in all varieties. We were happy trying seafood pizza at Crusty’s (Now renamed as Tossin Pizza) and we were delighted with the Hawaiian varieties at Pizza Express. But the other day when we craved for authentic US style pizza, we knew we’ll get it at Sbarro.

We went to Sbarro outlet in CP’s N Block which has dining area on two floors. They serve pizzas, pastas, salads and some sides. The menu is not very extensive and we tried some veg and non veg pizzas here. We ordered their signature New York Style Pizza Slices – Mushroom olive from vegetarian and Pepperoni from non vegetarian. These were NY style big slices meant for single person. Not just size or style but the taste and flavour reminded us of the pizza we get in the US. Simple delicious cheese and generous toppings made these slices super delectable.

We also tried their Sausage and Pepperoni Stuffed Pizza slice which took very long to arrive but it was super tasty and very filling. Chicken bread stick was average and its taste almost didn’t register among the pizzas that we ordered.

Sbarro pizza satiated our craving for US style pizza and given the decent service and good location we see ourselves visiting this outlet again on some cheat day when we are free of our calorie concerns.
