Colorama by Art Tree is a display of pieces of painting and sculpture at the foyer of Vivanta by Taj, Dwarka. The exhibition is on from 17th September 2016 to 17th February 2017. We were invited to the opening evening for art viewing over wine and cheese. Some of the artists were also available that evening for interacting with the guests.
Triveni Kala Sangam has served the cause of fine arts for years. During a recent visit we came across an exhibition by Pinaki Ranjan Bera. His works were simple and soothing to the eyes.
We keep marveling at how the definition of art has broadened over time. Paintings, sculptures, photography have made way to new forms of artwork. Our visits to India Art Fair are now a complete new experience. Kiran Nadar Museum of Art recently organised a talk were the concept of “The Coup” was discussed. Not from politics but from art perspective.
Triveni Kala Sangam is home to a variety of music and fine arts activities. They have a few rooms where art exhibitions are held by selected artists. We recently visited Triveni and came across a painting exhibition of works by Santosh Kumar Sahni. The works were fuss free, subtle and soothing to the eyes
Kiran Nadar Museum of Art in Saket holds art exhibitions throughout the year. With no entry fee, this helps in building bridges between art masterpieces and the common man.
