Crowne Plaza at Okhla has a multi cuisine restaurant Edesia. We recently visited this restaurant to try out their Awadh food festival. The wide buffet had a selection of Awadhi dishes. Additionally there were continental, salads, dessert and sushi counters.
Buffets are good for people who liked variety in a meal. The trick is to sift through the elaborate spread and pick items of ones liking. Since there is always something for everyone in the party, we like buffet meals. We recently visited Asia Alive at DoubleTree by Hilton Gurgaon to try out their buffet.
Whiskey is one of the most popular beverages in North India. There are various styles in which connoisseurs enjoy their whisky – with soda, without soda but punched with a soft drink or just neat. The WelcomHotel Sheraton in association with the celebrity bartender Shatbhi Basu organised an American Whiskey and Tapas evening. We were invited and had a unique experience.
Thai cuisine is a combination of flavours, colors, aroma and texture. While Thai food can get spicy, the heat is very different and milder than Indian food. Given the abundance of raw / fresh ingredients in this cuisine, Thai food is easy to digest and is very suitable for the ongoing crazy days of super high temperature.
