‘Anaarkali of Aarah’ is a debut film by director Avinash Das. It is a new release and is still on in a host of cinemas in Delhi NCR. Watch for yourselves and women in your life. They deserve it.
The trailer of Nil Battey Sannata was encouraging and we were looking forward to watching this film. Given that this was a story without romance / action / typical song-dance sequences, we were not confident that it would run very long at cinemas. So, we watched it soon after its release in a 30% occupied auditorium in Gurgaon. Actually, that’s not so bad. Even if some audience turn up for experimental films, the going is good.
A sequel to the earlier Tanu Weds Manu, this film is doing very well at the theatres. The writer/director’s attempt to get applause by cheeky one liners is disappointing, but one can watch this film for the super acting of Kangana Ranaut.
