India Gate lawns seem to have a new purpose. It is a venue for many festivals that are being organized by the government tourism boards. The latest one is the recently concluded North-East festival.
The Old Delhi Food Festival was held between 25 to 26 March, 2017 at India Islamic Cultural Centre. The venue was overflowing with diners and people driving down Lodhi Road faced the brunt. Nonetheless, we were happy to manage a parking spot and went in for a taste of famous food from old Delhi without travelling all the way to Chandni Chowk!
Delhi NCR foodies have a reason to rejoice. A number of food festivals are happening in Delhi Gurgaon back to back and the festivals have a lot to offer more than just food. The organisers have included live performances, games, music etc along with already promised gastronomical delight that is provided by several restaurants, new start ups and theme based food joints.
