A tea lover is no less an addict than an alcoholic. Teatotallers that we are, we found a new tea place even when we actually went to Ancient Barbeque, in Sec 50 Gurgaon for a Sunday Brunch. We still had time and we started exploring the Good Earth City Center mall and chanced upon this little tea bar – Tea Halt. The place is colourful and has good vibes about it. The walls are decorated with some tea based quotes and posters. We liked the tables that are shaped like florescent colour tea cups with glass tops.

What we ordered

We ordered a special Masala Chai and one Nawabi Kesariya Chai. Both the teas were served in ceramic cups that were shaped and colored as desi kullads. Masala Chai was good and strong while Nawabi Kesariya was aromatic. No complaints with tea but we wish the cups were bigger and we could get a little more tea for this price. Yes, the prices, with taxes included, are steep for what they serve.

What we look forward to

Nevertheless, another decent place added to our goto list of tea places in NCR. We hear that they have opened a couple of other branches, one being at Galleria Market, Sector 27, Gurgaon. We intend to try this option of Tea Halt soon!
