Review of 2014 Sharbat Mela

Since the last two days, the Delhi weather has gone all bonkers. Within minutes a scorching sunny sky starts roaring with thunder. In such an unusual weather, Delhi Haat Pitam Pura hosted an unusual festival – Sharbat Mela.

Various small scale manufacturers had set up stalls offering sharbats, squashes, pickles, and mixes for thandai icecream n kulfi. Most stalls offered samplers and the uniqueness was the limited or no use of preservatives.

The mela managed to attract substantial number of visitors in the otherwise sleepy Pitam Pura Delhi Haat.
