Uncle Tom’s steamed hot dogs, if nothing else, provides a better option for junk food lovers to have some guilt free hot dogs. Located in Nehru Place as part of Epicuria food court, we discovered this place in our search for low calorie eating options.

After watching a movie at Satyam, Nehru Place, going to Epicuria for dinner was an obvious choice. In our bid to have something healthy, Uncle Tom’s steaming hotdogs provided a break from the monotony of Subway sandwiches that is a popular joint as a low calorie eating joint.

We ordered the Original Baseball Stadium Dog. True to their name the hotdogs were steam cooked. They used brown bread and the chicken Frankie was also steamed and soft. The vegetables used in the hotdog were very fresh and full of taste.

Though one hotdog wasn’t enough to satiate our appetite we decided to try the other items on their menu during our next visit.
