Wagh bakri tea company has launched a tea parlour under the nameWagh Bakri tea lounge. Located at the busy Netaji Subhash Place office areas, this was like an oasis of peace.
The concept of tea lounges is uncommon in this part of Delhi and we were pleasantly surprised to see that the place was aesthetic but unassuming. The tables were spaced out and the bright sofas were cozy. The walls were covered with simple prints and posters about various types of tea.
We ordered a Wagh Bakri strong tea. This was an aromatic milk tea and the strength was just right. The tea was brewed perfectly and each pot had generous servings for two cups. We also ordered the mocha muffin, that was fresh and above average in taste. We loved the tea and went for a second round.
We would also like to mention the waiters. Their quiet but attentive presence added to our experience.
To save the best for last, we would like to mention that the tables had many board games such as Chess, Scrabble and Pictionary. Our tea that evening was sweeter because of the longish hand that we had on Scrabble.
It’s a must visit for people who like simple things of life to be simple.
