Wah Ji Wah created sensation a few years back with their soy chops and other vegetarian preparations. Since then they have opened several restaurants in Delhi NCR one after the other. Sometimes, their outlets serve good food and sometime we are disappointed. But this time when we were looking for a quick affordable dinner option after we finished watching the last presentation of The Amazon India Fashion Week on a Thursday, we opted for Wah Ji Wah as it was on the route and functional at that hour. It was around 12 in the night and they were just finishing up. We were extremely glad that they agreed to serve us.

We quickly ordered a Mix Tandoori Platter for both of us. They had a few seats inside their very tiny outlet. It took them around 20 minutes to prepare our platter. And my-oh-my what a platter. The platter had a roll cut in two, some pudina soy chops, grilled spicy mushrooms, paneer tikka, soy afgani chops and a couple of other soy based tandoori kebabs. This was more than enough for two of us. We don’t remember when was the last time we had so much fun having vegetarian food. Every single thing on the platter was hot, fresh and delicious. The spiciness of the items didn’t overshadow the core taste. Even simple regular stuff like paneer tikka totally stood out. We loved the mushrooms and the roll was substantial as well. The mint and curd based dip was finger licking good and enhanced the taste of the soy kebabs many fold.

This experience restored our faith in Wah Ji Wah once again and we can’t wait to visit them again.
