We visited the daylong street food festival Zaika-E-Dilli at Nehru Park, Chanakyapuri where the organisers Thelewala brought together brought an assortment of street food mostly from Old Delhi. Consequently, got to have some simple but hidden pleasures like the fruit kuliey and the Rabri waali Kulfi in Rose flavour. While there is room for more variety, this was a great starting initiative by the Thelewala.

National Street Food Festival 2014 gave Delhiites a taste of street food beyond tikki and choley bhaturey. The fair brought all sort of fancy food from the streets of various states of India to 100s of tables at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium and placed under one roof (in fact under sky).
