Delhi Comic Con is back with a bang and superheroes and comic characters are going to take over Delhi for three days. One of the biggest pop culture shows in recent times, Comic Con Delhi is going to pull kids, youngsters, parents, comics enthusiasts, artists, cartoonists to NSIC grounds Okhla this weekend. We have been huge fans of this comic festival since Comic Con 2013 at Dilli Haat. The 2014 Delhi Comic Con was hosted at a bigger venue Tyagraj Stadium and since then we have seen it getting better and bigger every year. The huge grounds of NSIC that have been used for hosting big events like India Art Show and Amazon Fashion Week  are the venue for 2016 Delhi Comic Con.

Though Alto Delhi Comic Con 2016 would have something for everybody and different people have different reasons to visit this event, here’s our list of top things to do at Comic Con Delhi 2016

COSPLAY: Cosplay has been an integral part of all Comic Con events. We have witnessed many cosplay participants in Indian and international characters from comics or TV/film animation series. Who can resist getting clicked with Superman, Spongebob, Chacha Chowdhary or Shikari Shambhu. While these cosplay characters are amazing for getting selfies clicked, there is an Indian Cosplay Championship this time which is going to recognise and reward the best Cosplay artists.

NEW COMICS LAUNCH: Comic Con Delhi is a platform for launching and generating an instant interest in new comics. We are excited to see what’s been introduced this year.

MERCHANDISE: A host of companies are going to exhibit their merchandise like T shirts, key tags, printed stationary and mugs, masks, posters and what not. It’s an amazing and offbeat place to do some Christmas shopping for kids and teenagers.

MEET THE ARTISTS: Meet some self published cartoonists and well known comic artists from India and abroad. You can see them in action at Delhi Comic Con creating sketches, signing posters and getting selfies clicked.

INTERACTIVE SESSIONS: From sessions with actor / director Amol Gupte (Stanley Ka Dabba fame) to Wacom tablet sessions to sessions with Radio Mirchi team, Delhi Comic Con is going to be a very interactive event and is going to include enthusiasts in conversations around various topics of pop culture.

GAMING ZONES: Delhi Comic Con has arranged some super interesting gaming zones like Bahubali gaming zone and Alto gaming zone for gaming and arcade fans.

FOOOOOD: What an event without food. Delhi Comic Con has always had a dedicated food court where you can relish some comic characters printed cupcakes along with your regular sandwiches, chana bhatura, tikki and momos etc.
