A Light in the Fog – An Iranian film
An Iranian film that revolves around the life of a single middle aged woman who lives with her ailing father who repairs lanterns. Mundane as it sounds the director has juxtaposed this simple narrative on an idyllic snow- covered fog laden mountain setting. With very few dialogues this film, it is a meditative journey about hope.
“Couple Trouble” featuring Kashmira Shah had more than a couple of troubles
A forgettable play that attempts to ride solely on the physical appeal of Kashmira Shah. Audience deserves better and we would not recommend this play even if the tickets are distributed free of cost.

A sequel to the earlier Tanu Weds Manu, this film is doing very well at the theatres. The writer/director’s attempt to get applause by cheeky one liners is disappointing, but one can watch this film for the super acting of Kangana Ranaut.

Spaghetti Kitchen has introduced a new menu, adding more authenticity to their Italian fare. We recently tried their new menu and it gets a thumbs-up from us. We would recommend their Gurgaon outlet as this is a fine dining experience without a major dent on the wallet.

Mama’s Day is a nursery cum cafe at Gwalpahari on Gurgaon Faridabad Road. One can stop for a cup of tea and some quick bites if they are driving from one of these places to another.

The Habitat Film Club organizes a film festival for about 10 days in a row every year. The festival hosts the best of Indian cinema in various languages with English subtitles. The shows are followed by audience interaction with the director / cast of the films. This is a magnum feast for the film buffs of the city.
