Upcoming Event – 34th India International Trade Fair IITF 2014
The 34th India International Trade Fair (IITF 2014) is scheduled between 14 – 27 November, 2014 at Pragati Maidan. With a gamut of well designed theme state pavilions, international stalls, a mesh of hardcore engineering and craft products, the fair promises to be a mega event as always.

Potbelly rooftop cafe – Good vegetarian dining in Delhi
A couple of bad experiences with Litti Chokha and we wrote off Bihari food completely. We never imagined dishes from Bihar are being served in a dedicated fancy cafe. But one visit to Potbelly Rooftop Cafe and we realised our assumptions were too leaky to hold water. Potbelly is a cool cozy cafe on rooftop of a building in an intriguing Shahpur Jat area that serves some amazing vegetarian Bihari food.

Passion Tea – A piano, wifi and overpriced tea
We visited The Piano Man-Passion Tea in Basant Lok, Vasant Vihar after a long gap. The place is looking better with new decor and redesigned menu. Tea and cake were nice but definitely not value for money.
Durga Puja in Delhi
This year, Durga Puja is from 30th September to 3rd October and bamboo structures for marquees are already visible in various parks and community centres. C R Park has the highest concentration of Durga Pujas, and the area transforms into a carnival zone. Also, the Kashmiri Gate Durga Puja is one of the oldest celebrations in Delhi and is a huge crowd puller even today along with Kalibari near CP, Shiv Mandir at C R Park and Durga Bari.
Delhi Book Fair 2014 – So many books, so little time…
Delhi Book Fair 2014 at Pragati Maidan saw a huge turnout this year, The Book Fair has changed its character and is more inclusive. Alongside paper books, the stalls carried e-books, DVDs, audio books and reading material in all sorts of electronic forms. Various activities were also being held to attract curious visitors. The Stationery and Office Automation Fair that was happening concurrently in one of the halls attracted additional footfall.

Plaza suite a multilingual play in three acts. It is about a certain suite in a posh hotel and the incidents there. Entertaining and most suitable for weekend watch.
Goodricke Teapot – An experience worth talking about
Goodricke has a lot of heritage in tea culture and is well known for aromatic teas. Goodricke Teapot have a fair menu of snacks, savories and pastries to have with tea. We loved our cup of strong masala tea along with vol-au-vent and rainbow pastry. We recommend this place for quiet evenings with family, friends or self.
