What’s wrong with Anupam Kher? Pushing the audience to clap for him was not what we ever expected from an artist like him. “Kuch bhi ho sakta hai” was probably the most boring soliloquy / stand up comedy act we have seen lately.

As my friend and co-blogger for delhi-fun-dos.com keeps saying “Man at his best is god”. This is probably what this film is trying to say. A film with a message. Watch it for awesome script and great performances.

Euphoria’s open air concert at the Central Park (As a part of Raag Rang Series) demonstrated that they have a loyal fan following who have their songs on the tip of their tongue. The high energy performance left Dilliwallas asking for more….

Three desperate friends (Vir Das / Kunal Khemu / Anand Tiwari) attend the rave party and became targets of hundreds of zombies. It’s no a “scare the shit out of you” horror film. Infact the marriage of comedy with horror is praiseworthy.

Shubha Mudgal sang most uncommon renditions. From Kabir to Dushyant Kumar to Amir Khusro, she delivered one great song after the other. It was a part of Raag Rang festival organised by ministry of Art & Culture during 6-12 May 2013.

Jolly LLB is the story of Jolly-The lawyer from Meerut who wants to find his place under the sun. The film does not try to be anything at all apart from being an entertaining all age weekend evening watch.

Kashmiri Kitchen on MG Road serves delectable Kashmiri Cuisine. “Kokur Yakhni” , Zafran Phirin and Kahwa were simply great.
Jug Jug Jiyo
“Jug Jug Jiyo” was about celebrating the girl child. In a simple and entertaining manner, the 1 hour 15 minutes play managed to touch the right chords. The play looked like an extension of “Vickey Donor”. Dolly Ahluwalia and Swaroopa Ghosh in their respective Punjabi and Bengali women roles brought life to the characters.
Tumhari Amrita
Shabana Azmi and Farooq Sheikh – in their finest stage performance, reading out letters – The heart warming story of an unrequited love woven in love letters written over a time span of 35 years in “Tumhari Amrita”.
Kai Po Che
A story of three friends (whats this bollywood fixation of 3 guy friends…) and Cricket and Gujarat and a lot of other things. The film had its own charm and we liked it but what was perhaps missing was the soul. It failed to become what it set out to be – a great film rather than an honest film.
