Bharat Parv 2017 at Red Fort
Bharat Parv is a celebration of India’s rich culture and tradition in food, crafts and folk arts. Organised by the ministry of Tourism, the high point was the state and department tabloids that were displayed in Republic Day parade. The four day Iranian film festival that the Directorate of film festivals, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting organized at Sirifort Auditorium celebrates the long history of cultural sharing between India and Iran. Iranian cinema has a documentary feel to it. Bereft of any effort to window dress or glamourise a plot, sets or casts, it is an authentic portrayal of the lives, dreams and aspirations of the average Iranian. We therefore find Iranian films most alluring.

Delhi is a hub for film festivals. The government as well as private organizations arrange these festivals. While most of these festivals have free entry, prior passes may have to be collected. Agra has been immortalised by Shahjahan’s Taj Mahal – one of the Wonders of the World.
