Wah Ji Wah has been a mixed experience for us. They have several outlets across NCR and at times we have been disappointed. During a recent late night dinner pang, we had little choice but to walk in to Wah Ji Wah, one of the very few outlets open in the area. We are so glad we did.
INOX has launched a range of Nachos, ready to eat pop corns and chips under the brand name MUCHOS. We recently tried their 9 flavors and are extremely pleased with the taste and quality. They have also introduced party packs that can be a unique Diwali gift.
We have rarely experienced, predominantly non vegetarian restaurants serving some good vegetarian dishes. Khaaja Chowk makes an exception here. Along with their famous laal maas and fish tikkas, they are making some awesome vegetarian dishes too. Rohini in north west Delhi is full of self service fast food joints but there is a lacuna for good casual dining places. Dubliin square in Sector 3 in Rohini, fills this gap by offering a huge space for diners to enjoy North Indian and Chinese food along with drinks and party space. Birdie Num Num is a new restaurant at Global Foyer Mall on Golf Course Road, Gurgaon. They serve dishes inspired by regional cuisines of India. It is interesting as to how they have tweaked such food to make it contemporary as well as appealing to the modern well-heeled city people.
Om Sweets in Tilak Nagar offers delicious vegetarian food and iconic Dhoda Barfi, with excellent service and convenient dining for all.
If you are a foodie, you can’t avoid Sector 29, Gurgaon. We have had a host of dining experiences here. Of all sorts. We recently visited the relatively newbie here Hunter Valley and loved their Belgian home brews and food. If you are in Sector 29, this place deserves a good shot.
We have been trying to visit Rose Café for some time now. Its ratings on food review platforms are most impressive. However, the early closing hours have been a deterrent. One Saturday evening, we wanted to celebrate an accomplishment and finally made a reservation. Once we reached, we were most amused to see this was just off Garden of Five Senses which we keep visiting for events frequently.
