A sequel to the earlier Tanu Weds Manu, this film is doing very well at the theatres. The writer/director’s attempt to get applause by cheeky one liners is disappointing, but one can watch this film for the super acting of Kangana Ranaut.

Piku – A Peek-a-Boo in life of Bengalis
Piku, that is running to full houses is a light hearted film. It has various elements of Vicky Donor. So if you liked that one, rest assured you will enjoy Piku as well.

Margarita with a Straw – film by Sonali Bose
Shonali Boses’s film is a pro attempt to marry two difficult concepts – cerebral palsy and bisexuality. The directors and actors (read Amitabh / Priyanka Chopra) of Pa and Barfi can take a leaf from Kalki’s rendition of a person with special needs. The film gives hope not just to people with physical disabilities, but also to anybody who is dealing with a lot in life.

NH10: Simply Brilliant!
NH10 is undoubtedly one of the best films of 2015 so far. The film is so “edge of the seat” your bum starts hurting by the end of it. Anushka Sharma left us wide eyed, open jawed and helplessly in love with her.
Dum laga ke haisha is a dumdaar film
Dum laga ke haisha is an offbeat film about finding love in an arranged marriage. The film beautifully captures the charm of the 90s and the aspirations of that era.
Oh My God… PK is a rip off
A much hyped Amir Khan film by Rajkumar Hirani leaves us disappointed. The film is heavily inspired from the Paresh Rawal film “OMG – Oh My God”. The level of creativity and originality in PK is as small as the name of the film and as plastic as Anushka’s lip job.
Wrong Rasiya – Film based on maverick painter Raja Ravi Verma went wrong in many places
Rang Rasiya – A film based on the maverick painter Raja Ravi Verma that lacks a purpose or soul. A wastage of a very interesting subject.
The Grand Budapest Hotel-A comic murder mystery
In a decadent Hungarian luxury hotel Ralph Fiennes, the concierge “Gustav M” befriends rich lonely widows, creates a special bond with them and they keep coming back fore more…and then there’s a murder, a stolen painting, a prison break, chase and the works. It’s a very smart film with a host of big Hollywood stars that keeps you at the edge of your seat for a reasonable duration of 1 hour and 40 minutes.
X-Men: Days of the future past
In X-Men Days of the future past, mutants are time travelling to fight Sentinels, another genetically mutated species developed to annihilate them. In this film Quicksilver and Mystique outshine the regulars like Wolverine, Magneto and others.
2 States
2 States is another rom-com with cross cultural love affair…Though this sambhar meets makki di roti has a lot of flaws but still the regular masalas of fighting mother-in-laws, wedding songs, good looking cast managed to make this film a little more enjoyable than just a time pass
Queen
O Gujariya… O Gujariya… Show me how to party…Kangana Ranaut showed us and how, in directer Vikas Bahl’s “Queen”. It’s a laugh riot and very sensitive at the same time. We don’t remember when was the last time we laughed and felt a lump in our throat at the same time… New age Bollywood at it’s best.
Highway
We have always felt it. You might have experienced it too. There is something therapeutic about road trips. Imtiyaz Ali’s “Highway” shows two protagonists who are as different from each other as chalk and cheese, confront their past, deal with pain inside them on a highway, amidst a kidnap. Watch it for a knockout performance by Randeep Hooda.
