Crowne Plaza Gurgaon celebrated Father’s Day with a cutesy event. The event was created in partnership with Foodmaniacs and Ikreate.

They organised a cook-out contest with father-kids as teams. The venue was their Brazilian restaurant Wildfire. The ingredients and creativity in the restaurant set the venue on fire. The ten or so teams of young and old came up with the tastiest dishes some of which were an Instagrammer’s delight!

The delicacies were judged by Master Chef Season 5 Star Sidharth Talwar and Executive Chef of Crowne Plaza, Nilesh Dey. After going through the host of dishes, Golmirch Chicken by the father daughter duo Sandeep and Devika Batra was decided as the best dish. On tasting we agree that this dish was totally worthy of the honour. The runner’s up was Chicken Escalada by Rita Arora and we liked this too. Chicken Escalada was plated very beautifully and drew many clicks as well. Special awards was handed over to Myasa and Armaan, two very young contestant who impressed the judges with their grilled sandwich and fries combo.

The event was followed by high tea and all attendees were handed over gift boxes of bakery by Crowne Plaza. The program was nice and neat and Crowne Plaza managed to tug at our heart strings through this simple Father’s Day celebration.
