DESCRIPTION:Treasure Art Gallery is organising an exhibition titled ‘Art of Bengal Today’ tracing the trajectory of Bengal Art from its complex historical context to its present-day manifestations through the works of its 15 major living legends and senior artists including Jogen Chowdhury\, Ganesh Haloi\, Sanat Kar\, Ashok Bhowmik\, Goutam Chowdhury and Samindra Majumdar among others. The exhibition\, curated by Tina Chandroji\, would look at the changing socio-political realities and their collective as well as individual responses to the same as artists. An exhibition featuring such a wide range of senior artists from Bengal is being held in New Delhi after a long hiatus. \nFree Entry
