DESCRIPTION:We’re delighted to be back with the third season of Suitable Conversations at Sunder Nursery. \nOur first session this season will feature acclaimed mythologist and bestselling writer Devdutt Pattanaik who will be in conversation with the director of Teamwork Arts and producer of the Jaipur Literature Festival\, Sanjoy Roy on ‘The Geography of Mythology: Where Do Gods Reside?’ \nThe session will be held on Saturday\, 18th November 2023 at 4 p.m. at the Mughal Pavilion\, Sunder Nursery\, New Delhi. We expect the duration of the event to be approximately an hour\, with the conversation followed by a Q&A with the audience\, and finally\, a book signing session. \nPLEASE NOTE:\n\nThe event is free for everyone to attend; however\, please note that the regular entry fee to Sunder Nursery will apply.\nSunder Nursery has air purifier units installed throughout the premises\, making it one of the spaces with the cleanest air in the city. He studied Art and Aesthetics at JNU\, Delhi\, and film editing at FTII\, Pune. His video diaries and character videos have gained a substantial social media following. His films have been screened at prestigious festivals worldwide. In addition to his video work\, Anurag writes published opinion pieces. His popular podcast invites global thinkers and artists to discuss pressing issues. Dir- Varun Grover) \nAt a preview theatre\, a young filmmaker waits in the hope of getting his new sci-fi drama certified with ‘no cuts’ by the conservative men of the Indian Censor Board. \nThe board finds a particular kissing scene in the film beyond the duration stipulated by official\, orthodox rules. As the filmmaker and board members argue over the length of the kiss\, the laws of physics disintegrate around them.
