SUMMARY:Virasat: Mahesh Elkunchwar’s Play Comes to Sunder Nursery
DESCRIPTION:The Kiran Nadar Museum of Art presents Virasat\, a hyperrealist staging of celebrated Marathi playwright Mahesh Elkunchwar’s acclaimed Wada trilogy\, directed by Anuradha Kapur. \nThe production will be presented as a single performance at Sunder Nursery from 24 to 27 September 2026\, following previews at Black Box Okhla. \nMoving away from the conventional proscenium stage\, Virasat adopts an arena format that places audiences within the architecture of the performance itself. The production explores what Anuradha Kapur describes as a “hyperrealist score of action”\, where everyday activities unfold in real time. This approach blurs the boundary between theatrical representation and lived experience\, allowing audiences to inhabit time alongside the performers rather than simply watch from a distance. \nCommissioned by the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art and developed in residence at Black Box Okhla\, Virasat is a generational saga centred on the Deshpande family of Dharangaon against the backdrop of a rapidly changing India. Through the story of a once prosperous feudal household\, Mahesh Elkunchwar examines the social changes that gradually reshape the lives of a family and its world. \n📅 24–27 September 2026\n📍 Sunder Nursery\, New Delhi \nLocation Map: \n \n

SUMMARY:Between Dust and Distant Skies: Solo Art Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:Between Dust and Distant Skies is a solo exhibition by Sri Lankan multidisciplinary artist Pradeep Thalawatta\, curated by Rahul Kumar and presented at LATITUDE 28 in Defence Colony. \nThe exhibition brings together works that explore how images of conflict\, migration\, childhood and everyday life move across different forms of media and become embedded in our personal memories and emotional landscapes. \nWorking across photography\, drawing\, video\, performance\, installation and painting\, Thalawatta uses materials such as used sandpaper collected from construction sites\, tar\, wrapping paper\, children’s stickers\, toys and storybooks. Through processes of erasure\, folding\, layering and concealment\, these materials become a way of looking at memory as something that is constantly layered\, edited and reshaped. \nThe exhibition brings domestic and geopolitical imagery into conversation\, placing childhood memories\, news photographs\, art-historical references and popular visual culture alongside one another. \n📅 21 August – 19 September 2026\n⏰ Monday–Saturday | 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM\n📍 LATITUDE 28\, B-74\, Ground Floor\, Block B\, Defence Colony\, New Delhi – 110024 \nLocation Map:

SUMMARY:Two And A Half Letters: A Solo Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:Presented by Eikowa\, Two And A Half Letters is a solo exhibition by artist Swati Pasari\, bringing together a new body of paintings\, sculptures and frames developed over the past three years. \nThe exhibition takes its title from Kabir’s celebrated idea of the “two-and-a-half letters of love” and explores themes of spirituality\, hope\, happiness\, faith\, devotion and the search for inner stillness. SUMMARY:Performing Belief Art Exhibition at Kalakaar Art Salon
DESCRIPTION:Performing Belief is a thoughtfully curated group exhibition that explores the idea of ritual beyond religion—as memory\, repetition\, material\, and lived experience. Curated by Rahul Kumar\, the exhibition brings together works by 22 artists spanning modern\, folk\, tribal\, and contemporary practices. \nFeaturing celebrated names including S. H. Raza\, F. N. Souza\, M. F. Husain\, Sohan Qadri\, G. R. SUMMARY:Fire & Form Ceramic Art Exhibition by Keshari Nandan
DESCRIPTION:Discover the artistry of clay\, fire\, and craftsmanship at Fire & Form\, a solo exhibition by renowned ceramic artist Keshari Nandan\, curated by Uma Nair and presented by 108 Art Projects. \nBringing together more than thirty recent stoneware works\, the exhibition showcases over three decades of Nandan’s exploration of ceramics\, where functional pottery\, architectural forms\, and contemporary sculpture come together through a distinctive visual language. Working from his studio in Rajasthan\, the artist is deeply involved in every stage of the ceramic process—from preparing clay and developing mineral glazes to building kilns and mastering atmospheric firing. \nRather than treating the kiln as merely a production tool\, Keshari Nandan embraces fire as an active creative force\, allowing each piece to evolve through the unpredictability of the firing process. Following recent presentations at the ClayArch Gimhae Museum in South Korea and the Latvia Ceramics Biennale\, Fire & Form offers Delhi audiences an opportunity to experience the work of one of India’s leading contemporary ceramic artists. \nEvent Details \nExhibition: Fire & Form\nArtist: Keshari Nandan\nCurator: Uma Nair\nPresented By: 108 Art Projects\nOpening: 11 August 2026\nVenue: Shridharani Gallery\, Triveni Kala Sangam\, New Delhi\nEntry: Open to Visitors \nLocation Map:

SUMMARY:i am your neighbour\, i am your lover\, i am: Solo Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:London-based artist Rewati Shahani presents i am your neighbour\, i am your lover\, i am\, a solo exhibition currently on view at Blueprint12\, New Delhi. Presented in collaboration with Cultivate Art and curated by Deeksha Nath\, the exhibition brings together multidisciplinary works that reflect on visibility\, dissent and resistance in a time of growing political polarisation. \nResponding to the resurgence of right-wing politics in the UK and beyond\, Shahani’s works explore the increasingly precarious position of dissenting voices. Working across drawing\, painting\, printmaking\, photography\, sculpture and performative gestures\, the artist brings the body into conversation with politics\, protest and collective action. \nThe exhibition features sculptural heads contorted in anguish and gathered together\, evoking the urgency\, strength and frustrations of collective protest. Shahani’s body prints\, meanwhile\, transform her physical presence into a record of persistence and agency\, exploring the ideas of visibility and vulnerability at a time when being seen can itself become an act of resistance. \nTogether\, the works present a feminist perspective rooted in collective consciousness\, solidarity and the continuing need for resistance. \n📅 7 August – 12 September 2026\n⏰ Daily | 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM\n📍 Blueprint12\, C-66\, Anand Niketan\, New Delhi – 110021 \nLocation Map:
