The benefits of Garden Cafe at Triveni Kala Sangam are manifold. We are huge fans of this cafeteria. Additionally Triveni Kala Sangam is a confluence of a variety of artistic endeavors. In one of our earlier visits we had come across an exhibition Water Life by painter Santosh Kumar Sahni.

This Saturday, we watched a Bharatnatyam performance as well as visited an exhibition by Artist Pinaki Ranjan Bera. This was a solo show where a number of works of various sizes were put on display. Although the paintings were abstract, there was certain simplicity and earnest which made these easy to appreciate.

The artist has used an interesting embossing technique that rendered a floral texture to all the canvases. The result was pleasing to the eyes. The exhibition is on till 31st August and there’s still some time for a dekko.
