“Yes, I Am Beautiful” is a short film that comprises a series of narrations by host of women who share their life’s experiences. Launched on Women’s Day it drive ins the axiom “Yes, I Am Beautiful”. Its about 7 minutes long but worth every second of viewing time.
Shamiana organised an evening of short films in collaboration with YES Foundation. The venue was Café Boheme at Vasant Vihar. The presentation was ok and we hope Shamiana comes up with a better selection of films and venue next time round.

Short films are very popular now. In view of their rising notoreity , festivals of such films are frequently organised by various groups. However, with the rising numbers, quality is giving way to quantity. Hence, often, the films that are shown in these festivals lack pith, and often, a basic idea. They are mindless and do not deserve public viewing.
