The Country without a Post Office
The play was unapologetic about the gimmicks and was a mélange that displayed – yes!- the confusing relationship between Kashmir and India. With oodles of sensitivity, in a remarkable span of 45 minutes, the play conveyed the impact of the problem on common people. “Jug Jug Jiyo” was about celebrating the girl child. In a simple and entertaining manner, the 1 hour 15 minutes play managed to touch the right chords. The play looked like an extension of “Vickey Donor”. Dolly Ahluwalia and Swaroopa Ghosh in their respective Punjabi and Bengali women roles brought life to the characters… Full Review
