With the 3rd edition of Great Indian Restaurant Festival, Dineout is all out to woo the foodies all across the country with solid lucrative deals of flat 50% Off Food, Alcohol, Total Bill, Buffet and Explosive Deals. While we are still enjoying their flat 50% off during GIRF 2019, there is one interesting category of Dineout GIRF discounts that you must not miss. We may seem a tad upbeat but wait till you read further! Dineout with its multiple partner restaurants are offering steal deals starting at just Rs.10! Read on to believe it.
Yeah, we too rubbed our eyes in disbelief when we read about this and decided to investigate. We suspected these are little-known places that were on the verge of closing down and were making a last-ditch attempt to make it. After all, even the neighborhood chaiwala perhaps charges more for a mini cup of tea these days.
But no, these are already established places of repute with regular footfall on a daily basis! This is a foodie’s dream come true and here is a list that we prepared.
Contents
The Chai Story
Talking about chai, we at Delhi-Fun-Dos are pretty much tea-totallers and are always on the lookout for good tea cafes which, till a while ago, was a myth. But a place like The Chai Story has made our dream come true. They serve great tea – not the machine bilge but properly brewed as we like it up north. But that is just the beginning. The other items on the menu – pizzas, sandwiches and ice creams are tasty and value for money.
Gianis
Well, this is one brand that needs no introduction. They have single-handedly popularized the concept of neighborhood ice cream parlour in Delhi NCR. Be it their regular flavours, off-beat items with paan (betel leaf) or rose essence or fruit cream, they never disappoint. Must say, a deal here is a rare deal.
Wow! Momo
This chain wows us with great business acumen. It is a brand from Kolkata that was launched only a couple of years ago. And now they are everywhere as cafés, takeaway counters or pop-ups. Their fan following has to be seen to be believed. They have lifted momo from the roadside vendor and given this dish respectability and twists (read mango momo or chocolate momo). Like it or lump it, any deal here is a gift.
Southy
We know Southy for almost 10 years now. It was a rainy bike ride near Lado Sarai and we took refuge here. This led to dosa and filter coffee. We are fans since then.
Chicago Pizza
This brand is one of the pioneers in Delhi to introduce us to new varieties of pizza in terms of the base as well as flavours. The stuff that they serve is filling and they have pasta too. If you like Italian – in a familiar style – this is the place.
Barista
Barista is a hero. They pioneered the coffee shop culture in India. It is through Barista that we came to know about the endless varieties of coffee, the difference in beans from various locations, the comfortable experience that is more than a cuppa. There is a Barista next door and we are going for this deal immediately.
Burger Singh
We thought this was a challenge to a popular foreign brand selling burgers. We must admit we were skeptical. But just look at their phenomenal success! Their burgers are enormously popular and follow the “Make in India” ethos.
Kebab Xpress
Kebabs in paper boxes would have raised a lot of eyebrows a while ago. But we were so impressed when we tried the Connaught Place outlet of Kebab Xpress the first time. Wholesome stuff at affordable prices, now even more affordable after the Dineout deals starting at Rs. 10.
Bikanervala
This chain makes us nostalgic. We had coined the name “Delhi-Fun-Dos” dining at the Rajouri Garden outlet of Bikanervala. Such is the power of their food. We are sure many of you may have such inspiring stories at this chain. With the Dineout deals – go ahead and create some more.
The Waffle Co.
Waffles are the in thing these days. The Waffle Co., has perhaps pioneered the waffle craze. Super crispy outside and soft inside, they have made this dessert so worth the calories.
That was a long list. The current Dineout deals starting from Rs. 10 are a real Fun-Do. Go for it and yes – you are most welcome.
Me and my husband loves to drink tea so we definitely want to check Chai. Thank you so much for sharing these awesome suggestions!
Step-up chai lovers 🙂 We are with you on this 🙂
