Venue: C Block Connaught Place

While roaming around CP we had a sudden craving for egg rolls. Though this part of Delhi is full of fancy dine-in restaurants and cafes, it’s not easy to find pocket friendly food options in Connaught Place. Well, this time we just chanced upon this roll shop around C Block on inner circle. Sadly no seating space here, which we badly needed after a frenzy shopping in this area. Nevertheless it was one of those days when we prioritized taste over comfort and quality. Now this is where this outlet is majorly lacking.

We ordered egg rolls for both of us. The waiting time was much longer than we expected and this actually increased our hunger as well as expectations. The rolls looked alright but tasted at best average. The wrap was too thick for our liking and overall taste was majorly missing flavors. The rolls lacked any wow factor whatsoever. One of us requested non-spicy but his roll came without any mirchi as well as no salt. It was as bland as it could get.

Quality wise the rolls were alright but there is this thing about food that you eat on the road. It should make your mouth salivate. These rolls were just about ok in taste. Though they have shakes and many other options as well, we didn’t feel like trying those after the rolls.

Though Hulka Fulka is a pocket friendly food option in CP, we don’t see ourselves craving for it.
