Though we love our Dominos and Pizza Huts, to break the monotony we keep trying pizzas from other outlets. We were hanging out at Galleria Market, Gurgaon and we had an InstaPizza voucher from Eat Treat that we wanted to redeem. So we went to Instapizza for a quick bite. This outlet is quite difficult to locate even if you are a regular at this market. Maps from Zomato weren’t of much help as well. We asked around and figured out its exact location was on first floor. It’s a very small pizza place with hardly any dining space. They do have some high stools inside and a couple of them outside.

We ordered a Smokey Chicken Pizza and sat outside waiting for our order. Since nobody served us for a good 25 minutes we went to the counter and asked them about our pizza. They realised that they forgot our order completely and asked the chef to make our pizza only after we complained. This is just not done for an upcoming restaurant. In a place like Delhi NCR where new restaurants open on a daily basis this can be a make or break for an outlet. Moreover it is a tiny place, they had only 5-6 diners and if they are forgetting one of them, they are upsetting a good percentage of diners.

Nevertheless we waited for another 15 minutes and our pizza arrived. The pizza was alright – no complaints. Thick, cheesy and chicken was fine too. But we so could not see or taste anything special about their pizza. To compensate for their mistake they served us a chocolate brownie which was pretty ordinary – in fact the chocolate sauce on top was way too sweet for our taste. Moreover we were just not in the mood for dessert, so we left it after a bite or two. But appreciate the gesture.

The long wait and average taste of pizzas really disappointed us. Delhi NCR has no dearth of good pizza places and given the surge of newly opened restaurants we are not sure if we would like to revisit this place.

To conclude on a positive note, we liked that they had a hand sanitizer at the outlet. It was thoughtful and helped cleaning greasy hands.
