Venue: ITC Maurya, New Delhi
Date: 15 July 2017
ITC, the FMCG brand has diversified in another territory. ITC Foods launched its range of basic and blended spices under a newly created umbrella brand – ITC Master Chef at ITC Maurya, New Delhi.
The new collection ITC Masterchef super spices boasts of being subjected to more than 470 tests for pesticide residues as per European Standards.
We were invited to the delightful launch event that was divided in three segments.
The first segment comprised brief presentations by representatives of ITC Foods. We were introduced to the brand Master Chef Super Spices and were apprised about its taste and quality uniqueness. A short presentation on ITC Food’s packaged prawns ended this part of the program.
The second part of the evening was a surprise. It was a cooking competition within 4 teams randomly formed among the bloggers and media folks. The teams were allotted different spice combinations from the Master Chef Super Spices collection and had to make the specific dishes – chhole, chicken, mutton and paneer. The results of this cook out are awaited. No matter who wins, this event led to a lot of fun and mirth.
The concluding part of the evening was a royal dinner buffet at The Pavillion. The elaborate spread contained a combination of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes from a host of cuisines. We have tasted the buffet at The Pavillion earlier and have been most impressed with the quality, variety and the hospitable staff. The difference this time was that the juicy prawns served here were from the ITC Foods collection and the spices that went into the yum food was from the ITC Master Chef Super Spices range. The proof of the pudding is in the eating we say!
ITC Master Chef Super Spices orientation was a fun evening and we are happy to be a part of it.
