Indian Grill Room is one of our favourite buffet places in Gurgaon for great food, nice relaxed ambiance and hospitable staff. We seem to have an annual ritual here since we visited this place in 2015 and 2016. The elaborate spread – not over killed with spices – ensures that there is something for everybody. No wonder it is such a hit with big groups of friends, co-workers or family.

They are hosting a mango festival “Mangosome Affair” that comprises, amongst others, curated mango based dishes. Tasty aam paana, whole some mango shake and mango lassi with the meetha just right is what we loved in their festive fair. But the best was saved for the last – the mango pudding was a dish to die for. Sponge cake combined with fresh mangoes and topped with subtle whipped cream. The chef made sure that the taste of mangoes was not compromised – but enhanced by the milder elements in this dish. In fact, the whole starters of the table – buffet main course and desserts routine was delectable and it was a complete dining experience – modern Indian style.

The mango festival in on till 30th June so – Mango People – do try that out. In fact, Indian Grill Room is a great choice any time of the year whenever you are in the mood for some good Indian food.
