Our favourite food mall in Delhi NCR, DLF Cyberhub is breaking away from the tag of just a food mall. Apart from being a hub for some of the most sought after breweries and eateries like Indigo Deli , SOI 7 , Quaff and IHop, DLF Cyberhub is opening up to music, games and shopping as well. While we have a Chumbak store for some kitschy (but of course expensive) shopping, we have People and Co. just adjacent for live music, stand up comedy and food. We attended a musical evening by Advaita band recently at People & Co. and were thrilled to have discovered this place for live music. Since it was late in the night we skipped dinner that evening and thought of coming back some other time just to experience their F&B.
We recently went there for dinner with a bunch of friends. This time mostly for food and drinks. The bar at the entrance is combined with an area for live music. Adjacent to that is the dine in area – spacious, adequately lit and soothing decor.
Starters here are a melange of Indian, Asian and World cuisine. Bheja nu farcha, fish cake with kafir lime, tangy prawn and mushroom galouti paved the way to a sumptuous meal. We tried potato and sausage salad, soy samosa and tom yam paneer with our refreshing watermelon cocktails and mojitos.
Dumpling platters are a sight for sore eyes. Very tender and freshly made dimsums came smoking hot and we couldn’t resist to dig into their Asian deliciousness.
For maincourse we had onion and goatcheese risotto and dual textured duck. Though it looked totally Insta worthy, duck was a little too fibrous for us. Thai curry was super delicious and if we have had it earlier we would have not have anything else.
We were totally bowled over by their Indian spread. Choley had finesse of a fine dine restaurant and taste of a some famous street food shop. Desi at heart, we had this mouthwatering dish with breads like naan and green chilly kulcha.
We rarely expect anything great in terms of desserts from pubs. But on the host’s insistence, we made room for desserts and we did not regret our decision one bit. Desserts were the star of the night. Baklava with rose ice cream, Gulab Jamun cheesecake and chocolate almond mud cake were the stuff sweet dreams are made of. Calorie consciousness out of the window and we dug into these sumptuous desserts before calling it a day.
Service was a tad slow in tune with the laidback vibe of the evening. The live band was belting out popular numbers in between the recorded tracks and kept us entertained throughout the evening.
We highly recommend People & Co. for a wholesome experience of fun, food and music.
The food pics look awesome. We keep hanging out in that area. We’ll have to try this place soon.
I watched their standup comedy at Noida. But couldnt see any restaurant there. Is this new?
Hi, This one is in Gurgaon. DLF cyberhub to be precise.
We have been looking for such cafes where we could enjoy some live performances with food. Thanks for sharing. What is the cost for two approximately.
Cyberhub is a fun place.
Do they have film shows too?
Cyberhub lacks a cinema hall
