Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon inaugurated SIFFCY – Smile International Film Festival for Children and Youth at Sirifort Auditorium, Delhi. The week long film festival will be held from 11th to 17th December and includes films, short films, story telling sessions, workshops, games and fun activities for children.
Raveena Tandon, the ambassador of SIFFCY spoke about having good films for children and also stressed on the issues of women empowerment in India. She inaugurated #SIFFCY2017 the film festival for children and youth by lighting the lamps at the venue in front of fans, media and school children.
SIFFCY 2017 is brain child of Smile Foundation that works towards the welfare of less privileged children and their families. They have already produced a number of short films and documentaries including feature film “I am Kalam” which has won national and international awards.
SIFFCY 2017 is a celebration of Good Cinema and entry to this children film festival is free. We are glad to feature Smile International Film Festival for Children and Youth in our Delhi events calendar.
