We ushered in this spring with the Sunday Brunch at Latest Recipe by Le Meridien, Gurgaon. This was Pullman earlier and we have been eyeing the place since then.

The Gourmet Passport app that we have just downloaded got us cracking. They have more than ‘Buy 1 Get 1 Deals‘ across 160 restaurants and Latest Recipe was one of the featured places. We booked a Sunday Brunch here through this app and notwithstanding the Jaat stir alerts in Gurgaon, went for it.

Le Meridien is prominently located and you can see it from a distance on MG Road. While we drove, it is walkably close to Guru Dronacharya metro station. Once we reached, the wonderful live singing of soft rock numbers and love ballads by Hmai and Jerry made us nostalgic. The sunlight swept interiors created a relaxed setting and exuded positive vibes.

Salads – cold cuts – sushi to popular main course choices and big dessert counter, the lunch had it all. The must tries are Thai green curry with Jasmine rice, Australian lamb with gramolata, Marinated prawns with guacamole, potato chips with beer and cheese, caramel brownie pudding and cheese cake. Given the huge spread, there is something for all ages and tastes.

We sipped fresh pineapple and watermelon juices along with our meal. Post lunch, we had coffee and green tea. That completed our brunch.

We loved the meal. Our experience would have been a notch better if they had more staff to assist us at the various counters.

Given the Buy 1 Get 1 deal by  Gourmet Passport , the meal for two was very affordable at Rs 2450/- (without alcohol).
