The Great Kabab Factory – an Indian specialty restaurant at Radisson Blu Plaza, Mahipalpur offers delectable range of kebabs and tikkas along with vegetarian starters and mouthwatering Indian desserts. Using recipes combining the ancient with the contemporary, the restaurant boasts of preparing their kebabs in seven different styles, roasted on the tandoor or on a sighri, shallow-fried on a tawa or on a mahi tawa, deep-fried in a kadhai, steamed in pots or even grilled on a stone.

We recently tried their exotic range of Indian cuisine with Namaste India special where they are celebrating the herbs and spices of India. We savored a melange of kababs, tikkas, biryanis and curries that were prepared specially for the connoisseurs of Indian food. Galouti kebab and paratha are their signature special and we simply loved it. This is something that you are definitely going to ask for a repeat. Mustard macchi pakora was another dish that we really liked. Though deep fried, the taste lets you throw calorie caution to the wind and you just dig in. The prawn, boti kebab and chicken tikkas, though lacked any uniqueness, were tender, tasty and well cooked.

While kebabs barely left us with any appetite, we tried a bite or two of their maincourse. Sabz biryani was very subtle in taste and we loved the garlic taste of dal tadka. It had the warmth and comfort of home cooked food. Palak paneer was overtly bland and basic.

Desserts had tilla kulfi, beetroot halwa and a fusion dish malai jamun cream. We liked phirni which was very soft and creamy and jalebi rabri that was sumptuous. We ended the lunch with sada / meetha paan.
