All food and no games makes a cafe a dull place.
Probably that was the thought behind “The Mind Cafe”.
As per the dictionary cafe means an eating place. Perhaps due to growing number of eating places (cafes) in Gurgaon, people have started coming up with quirky ideas.”The Mind Cafe” along with the intestine tries to tease the intellect. On their menu along with food and drinks they have a host of table games. Some of these are offered as part of combos with food. Others were maybe a-la-cart. We were on a slight rush that evening. So we only went ahead with food.
For starters we had Jalapeno Poppers and Green Apple & Mint Fizz. The drink was very refreshing but the poppers popped a pleasant surprise. Inside the hard crust was a filling of soft cheese that melted inside mouth. The dip was also great.
For main course we had veg lasagna. It was slightly cheesy but well made and quite filling.
They had various seating arrangements – chairs, benches and floor cushions. Most people came in groups and seemed quite into the board games. Don’t worry if a lot of games look unfamiliar. The staff explain the game at each table.
We had a fun time eating at “The Mind Cafe”. Next time we are going there for games.
