Date: 24- 26 November 2017
Venue: DLF Place Mall, Saket
Malls worldwide are getting makeovers since the concept of malls being just shopping destinations is passe. Malls are emerging as activity hubs and DLF Place, Saket has relentless been pursuing this path. They are bringing in music and other forms of entertainment and food in a big way to woe all segments. One such endeavor is The Nite Owl Festival. The first edition of this event was held in summer. But finally, winters are just setting in. #DilliKiSardi is almost surreal and people love to be out. Be it weddings, year end parties or Christmas, it is time to make merry. There are now more people in the mall and what could be a better way to chill but on some music and food along with shopping. To this end DLF Place held the second edition of The Nite Owl Festival 2.0 last weekend.
The foyer area of the mall was converted to reflect the typical character of a flea market. A stage was set at The Plaza of the DLF Place Mall with young bands performing foot tapping Bollywood numbers. People gathered around the stage grooving to the beats of Zephyr, Astitiva, Rocknaama & more. The bands were interacting with audience while performing live at The Nite Owl Festival 2.0.
The dedicated shoppers of course went about their business – shopping for ethnic clothes, accessories and latest winterwear. Ecofriendly cosmetics were also available to fortify customers against the dryness of winter. The food was more of the fuss free street food variety – kebabs, biriyani, litti-chokha from Bihar and the latest popular hot favourite – waffles. Packaged items like caramalized and flavoured popcorn and ready to eat food items were also available. We grabbed a few quick bites, clicked some selfies, bought pop corn and called it an evening.
A Fun-Do evening we say 🙂 We look forward to the next edition of the The Nite Owl Festival at DLF Place, Saket.
Wow – looks so cool
