Venue: DLF Cyberhub DLF Cyber City, NH 8, Gurgaon
Eating out is undoubtedly an activity that Delhites can never have enough. However, the harsh Delhi summer sucks enthusiasm out of even the biggest foodies. During May to September people are therefore restricted to food courts and restaurants in air conditioned malls.
In such a scenario, DLF Cyberhub provides an alternative to all those who would wish to sit in the open even during summer. It’s a collection of restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops and pubs under one roof (or no roof).
We observed that this place is divided into three floors. The ground floor has restaurants on one side and confectioneries and coffee shops on the other. The first floor is partially a huge food court with very many basic food joints like McDonald’s, Vaango, Pizza Hut etc.. The top floor is occupied by an array of pubs. Many of these pubs had live music like bands and vocals or other events like Muay Thai happening during peak evening hours.
There would be about 50 odd eating / drinking options that seemed to cover affordable food joints to pricey fine dining restaurants (see list here – DLF cyberhub). None of the restaurants looked cluttered and tables are optimally spaced inside as well as outdoors.
Abuzz with well dressed people who all look happy and out for a nice time, this place defines today’s idea of urban good life. Consequently, we endorse DLF Cyberhub as an extremely viable venue for a summer evening.
Unfortunately, barring the Rapid Metro, there is little public transport for reaching this place. Driving is therefore the best option. But a word of caution about this. Although they have parking lots, at peak hours the space is inadequate and parking could take some patience. The admin could consider having shuttle services from strategic places so that even more people can enjoy this place. It may also aid in cutting down parking woes.
Nice review Delhi Fun Do team…it aptly describes the Cyber Hub as an extremely viable option for the summer evening!!!
Nice Article about cyber hub. Really helpful for foodies like me. Every floor has its own theme. I love to visit top floor the most due to the presence of party places like Imperfecto and SOI 7.
Thanks Mamta.
