Venue: DLF Place Mall, Saket
Date: 29 August 2014
Who would have thought that Hard Rock would open not one but two cafés in NCR? We recently attended their “Tribute to Coldplay” concert at the Saket outlet.
It was an event in collaboration with Radio One 94.3 and the cover band coldplayers played a series of popular cold play songs.
The café is divided in three sections-a Dining area, a Stage and a Bar. The music is strongly embedded in the ambiance. Music memorabilia has been used as the chief items of decor. In fact, not just rock artists, but Sitar maestro Ravi Shankar also found a place of pride on their wall.
We had scotch and some fruit based mock tails along with Chicken Satay, Spring Rolls, Hard Rock Nachos and Potato Wedges (must try). The climax was the Legendary Chicken Burger. The burger was essentially a steak with lemon garlic mayo and cheddar cheese inside two pieces of bun. Simple as the description appears, the steak was thick and roasted optimally. The cheese was soft and somewhat unusual and in combination with the steak, it tasted divine. This is undoubtedly one of the best burgers that are available in this region. One issue though, the burger was very high and one had to really stretch and open one’s mouth to bite it.
🙂
This happened to be one of the best wine and dine experience we ever had
I went hard rock cafe last week end. Superb cafe and the live music is out of the world. Amazing place
I can’t believe you recommend the food it is all highly processed.
Hi Mary, we just shared our experience about their food. We do not endorse them.
