It was a pleasant surprise to find a Wagh Bakri outlet bang opposite Bikanerwala at Lajpat Nagar. While their original Pitampura outlet is way bigger, at the Lajpat Nagar outlet, they have succeeded in creating the warmth that we expect out of a tea place.
We tried their tea and veg puff combo. The masala tea was mildly aromatic and refreshing. On the next round we took premium tea along with blueberry cake. The muffin was okay, but the tea lived up to its premium name. We wish to mention that the tea that they serve is freshly brewed in their open kitchen and the proportion of milk, water and tea leaves is just perfect.
It is heartening that the tea lounge had a lot of patrons. In fact they have opened another place at GK -M Block market. Hope they have more outlets in NCR.
