You would have noticed that we have been traveling quite a bit in the last couple of years. We are rather indiscriminate about this. Therefore we do not keep Rajasthan only for winters and a Bikaner in April or Jaipur in May is as much fun. This poses another problem though. It requires a little extra effort for keeping clean and maintaining hygiene. We were looking for some singularly men’s toiletry items that would help us achieve this purpose.
If you do an internet search for men’s grooming products, it is a confusing world out there. Yet somehow, during our search, Whiskers caught our attention. Whiskers is an Indian brand that is providing men’s toiletry and grooming products in the market. We have a soft corner for all things home; hence we wanted to try out this brand.
What caught our attention at the first go is the smart packaging. The white on black colour scheme exuded a certain understated fuss-free elegance that we could relate. In fact, these products would make smart gifts too we thought. Their product catalogue collection carried a host of grooming products like beard oil, beard wash, hair pomade, hair gel, face wash and tattoo balm. Except for the last item, we realized every other product was of use to us. We therefore ordered a selection from them for our forthcoming trip to Sabah, Malaysia.
As soon as the products arrived, we couldn’t wait for the trip and started using the Charcoal Face Wash, Hair Gel and Power Beard Oil immediately. The Charcoal Face wash seemed to clean all the oil and grime that had accumulated after a long day in this peak of Delhi summer. It has been a while now and there is clearly a reduction in the breakouts we had especially around the cheek area.
The Hair Gel comprised an alcohol free formula and came in a convenient pump dispenser. It was a strong hold composition and kept the hair in place throughout the day. It does tend to be a little too hard at times though. So one has to be careful about the quantum of use as going overboard can lead to a wiry mess on the head. Yet, this is a handy grooming hack in case you are out through the day and have something stylish to attend in the evening with no time to change in between.
We were a tad skeptical about the Beard Oil since this product was new to us. But the ongoing beard-bug had bitten us too. So we decided that a few drops wouldn’t kill and decided to apply the product. It was an instant smoothening effect unfrizzing the beard. The non-stickiness was perhaps the best thing about the product. It smelt very mild and that is perhaps because the Beard Oil comprises natural ingredients such as Apricot oil, Wheat germ oil, Jojoba oil, Argan oil, Grapeseed oil etc.
We are impressed and can’t wait to use the other products in our kitty. And we are relieved too. Men’s grooming is a relatively new concept India this is still taking off. It is therefore a host of experiments and finding reliable grooming products that are locally manufactured, hence affordable, is a challenge. We are therefore glad that we came across the Whiskers range. Needless to say, we are satisfied and are already converts to the Whiskers Grooming Products for Men.
Summer is hard, but also beautiful product to use to live it to the fullest and this set is really interesting!

I was looking at my son the other day and thinking that he needed something to tame his beard. I will have to check out the beard oil. It sounds like it may be what he needs.
